Troubleshooting: You may have an active QuickFilter or Space that is hiding your media
If you’re unable to see some (or all) of your photos in Mylio Photos, the issue is often caused by an active QuickFilter or Space limiting what is displayed. This article will help you check and resolve these common visibility issues.
Step 1: Clear Any Active QuickFilters
QuickFilters allow you to refine your view by criteria such as date, file type, folder, rating, label, and more. If a filter is active, it may be hiding some of your media.
To clear QuickFilters:
-
Look for the QuickFilters bar at the top right of your screen.
-
Click the X on the left side of the bar to remove all active filters.

Step 2: Check Your Active Space
Spaces control what parts of the library are visible to a specific user or device. If you’re in a limited Space, some folders or albums may be hidden.
To switch Spaces:
-
Click the Spaces icon in the left sidebar.
-
Choose a different Space, such as Everything, to view your full library (based on your permissions).

Step 3: Confirm Your Permissions (Guest Devices Only)
If you’re using Mylio Photos as a Guest on someone else’s account, the account owner may have limited your access using Space permissions. If you believe the media is missing or restricted in error, contact the account administrator to request access or changes to your permissions.
